"Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere." Albert Einstein
Teaching others about the power of art therapy and embodied methods has become my life work.
As an adjunct instructor in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University, I lecture on group process, family therapy, and adolescent development as well as art therapy as professional practice in the field. In 2025, I will be a guest lecturer for the Syracuse University Graduate Art Therapy Program teaching embodied methods.
I've mentored student interns since 2004, began teaching in 2010, and have guest lectured and presented experiential workshops, nationally as well as internationally since 2006. I've been on the faculty of the School of Visual Arts in NYC and have been an advisor for the post-graduate Child and Adolescent Training Program at the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. I also assist in training of both Somatic Experiencing and Integral Somatic Experiencing.
I am happy to consult with you to develop art therapy programming within your setting or agency that best meets your needs. I am available to lecture or provide workshops on the following:
Any presentation can be combined with art or body-based experiential.
